Cook
For those of you who haven’t seen it yet,
I play a swash buckling pirate type character called
Captain Cook. In each of the 104 episodes my role
is to save the world by creating a culinary masterpiece,
aided by my trustee side kick, a yeti called Bouma
- along with three of my Cook Cadets.
Now whilst the show is to do with having fun there
is a more serious element to the format. When we
began writing the material, over two years ago,
we wanted to address the problem that exists with
children and bad diets. So the result was a show
which encouraged kids to have fun in the kitchen
with 104 recipes I designed not only to be fun to
make but also ticked all the boxes as far as good
diet was concerned.
